Royal United Services Institute

Commercial Project

Whitehall

An Institute established by the Duke of Wellington in 1831 that has been at the heart of Whitehall for over 190 years, with the Royal United Services Institute being the world’s oldest defence and security think-tank. The Grade II* listed building houses a lecture theatre, a library, various function rooms and office accommodation, all comprehensively refurbished and extended as part of the renovation project. Working alongside Coniston, as main contractor, and MSMR, as architect – we designed, supplied and installed the new reception desk, lecture theatre joinery in the Duke of Wellington Hall, reading desks, as well as various other internal woodwork.
